🗣 Making its mark in the sneaker history books, the Nike Air Max 1/97 Sean Wotherspoon emerged after winning the Oregon-based brand’s Vote Forward competition in 2017. Dubbed the best release of the year, this mix and match AM 1/97 colourway combines an eccentric blend of vintage-inspired corduroys reminiscent of ‘80s apparel.

In keeping with the usual wavy upper of the Air Max 97, lemon, light blue and dark green adorn the body, whilst the sole is that of a Nike AM1, consequently creating a fusion of two classic silhouettes. A match made in heaven.

Sticking to his roots, this Sean Wotherspoon x Air Max 1/97 is decorated with embroidery reading ‘VA > LA’ on the heel; a subtle component compared to the multi-coloured outsole. All set with interchangeable Velcro patches on the tongue, these grails are not to be missed.
